MUA 'NAIL CONSTELLATIONS' & 'FLUFFY PUFF'

MUA Nail constellation  - £3
I'm obsessed with nail art and the sparkly it is, the better. I've never bought anything from MUA before as I'm a little bit sceptical of very cheap make up but the new nail range looked so cool. Their 'Nail Constellations' are similar to the Ciaté nail caviar, but obviously a lot cheaper. The beads are in a little glass bottle topped with a squeezable tube, making it really easy to get them on to your nails without wasting too many. I haven't tried it yet, but I know its going to look so pretty. I have Leo which is fuchsia and turquoise colour beads. I also bought the 'Fluffy Puff' nail fluff/fur in a pale pink which is also really cute (and has a cute name), but having furry nails is quite weird! There's a sifter inside to sprinkle the fluff on your nails, which doesn't work so I took that out and just dipped my wet nail into it instead. It also lasted quite well too. I think it's quite nice and quirky to have different textures on your nails even if its just on one as an accent.

A Helping Hand

THE BODY SHOP HEMP HAND PROTECTOR

The body shop Hemp Hand Protector £5 - 30ml, £10 - 100ml
I have get really dry skin, quite often on the backs of my hands (especially in Winter),so I thought I'd give a Body Shop Hand Protector a try as I'd seen a lot of people using it. I bought 'Hemp' which is a really natural and herbal smell and the cream is a very pale green. Unlike most hand creams/lotions, it's creamy rather than greasy and liquidy. On first use my hands were so so soft and silky, and even my boyfriend wanted to try it out (haha). You don't even have to use that much either! The lid's a little bit hard to put back on, and I don't really like the way the aluminium tube creases up after you use it either, but I still love it. A hand cream is not something I buy a lot and Hemp's not a scent I'd pick usually, but sometimes it's nice to try out different things and find something that you really love!

Get Lippy

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tars

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar - £10
Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tars are somewhere between a satin finish lipstick and a high coverage lipgloss - basically a liquid lipstick. I picked some up from Selfridges (£10 each) as Christmas presents in the more neutral shades, including one for me. My tar, 'Electric Grandma'  (The colour of the packaging isn't a perfect match to the colour inside), is a pinky and very slightly orange colour and on me it does look a little neon depending on how much I put on. Also, a little goes a long way - I overestimated on my first try! Maybe a lip brush would be good when you're applying. They are highly pigmented and the colour lasts for ages so they are perfect for nights out. I love the finish that the Tars give and I reallllllly want to try some more colours, especially 'Stalker', 'Pretty boy' and 'Narcissus'.
