ASOS PETITE leggings in cord - £20

I recently purchased some black corduroy leggings from ASOS which I absolutely LOVE. They are soft and almost velvety too as the cords are very small. I kind of hate it when people wear leggings as trousers too because they are just too thin and unflattering but these are thick enough not too worry about your bum not being covered by your top. They go with anything and are a really nice way to add a bit more texture into your outfit than wearing the usual black leggings and I've had so many compliments about them too. I got them in the Petite collection of ASOS meaning they fit me perfectly but they are also in the main collection. I've just given a few ideas to what the leggings could be worn with too all of which are from Topshop (Not necessarily whole outfits just a few pieces!)

This weekend was my friends birthday and the dress code was black tie. I wanted to wear a smock style dress but I couldn't find anything that was nice and would fit me and ended up sending everything I'd bought back (boo you ASOS). So I decided to wear my Topshop playsuit which I bought for NYE. It's so pretty and it seemed a bit of a shame not to wear it (plus I'm moneyless!). I wore my Office black wedges with a pair of sparkly ASOS socks (the only thing I kept from my order), TOPSHOP neon jewellery which you can barely see and bright neon yellow nails with little crystals on my ring finger. I'm really annoyed with myself because I didn't take a photo of them close up and everything I bought is now in the sale! Being really concious about how much heat I use on my hair, I just left it natural trying to get some volume by leaving it in a topknot for a little while. I also went to a gig this weekend to see my boyfriend DJ which was so much fun but I'm regretting the lack of sleep!
