I Swear...

TEN EASY BEAUTY TIPS

1. HYDRATION: I know nearly everyone says it but water is so gooooooood for your skin. I always notice a huge improvement when I drink water rather than anything else. Green tea is also amazing for keeping those pesky lil spots away and for getting rid of them.
2. HAIR: For softer, shinier and healthier hair,  hair masques and hair oils are a must.
3. EYELASHES: When I curl my eyelashes,  I always heat up the curler with a hairdryer. Sounds silly but it helps them stay curled. Obviously don't heat it until the metal is scolding!
4.NAILS: If your nail polish becomes thick, place the bottle in a cup of boiling water, making sure no water goes inside or you'll ruin it (oh noooooo) and this will thin it out! Yaaaaaaaaay.
5. LEGS: Rather than a shaving foam you can use a conditioner. It leaves your legs feeling moisturised too, so you don't have that tight after shaving feel!
6. EYEBROWS: I learnt this off a lovely mac make-up artist. To find the right length of your eyebrow, you should make a line from the edge of the widest part of your nose (your nostril) to your brow and that's where it should start. Then make a line running from your nostril to the outer corner of your eye to the outer brow and that's where it should finish. Obviously don't draw the lines on your face, an imaginary one will do...
7. NAILS: Base coats and top coats help create a more professional  glossier look. Nails Inc have an amazing set.
8. SKIN: Exfoliators are something I sweaaaaaaaar by for both face and body. They remove dead skin cells helping to avoid spots and you should exfoliate before each time you shave to stop ingrown hairs! I prefer to have an exfoliating face wash over a regular one any day. But don't choose one that is too abrasive.
9. SPOTS: Sudocrem is amazing for spots so if you happen to get one, slap it on.  Enough said.
10.  SPOTS AGAIN: If you get a spot, keep calm and  DON'T SQUEEZE!!! Just get a hot, wet face cloth and apply pressure on the spot then wipe it away. This takes off the gunky bit. It might not work the first time and may need 2/3 attempts but it draws out impurities too and stops inflammation.

Terms and Conditioners

CONDITIONERS

I thought I'd do a collective haul review on the conditioners which I've used in the past 3 months or so:  different ones to be exact (Can you tell how much I love conditioner yet!?). I have naturally blonde, straight and fine hair (possibly a little over-worked), so all these conditioners reflect that. I like conditioners which are moisturising and leave my hair feeling super soft as my hair can be brittle if I skip conditioner. From all of these conditioners/masques, my favourite has to be the Lee Stafford Treatment... Leave your comments below!

James Brown Richly Moisturising Conditioner
I've never used anything by James Brown before, and this I got this as part of a set for Christmas with the matching shampoo and heat defence sprat  and they all smell     Ah-mazing. It worked well as a conditioner but I didn't feel that it completely  lived up to the 'Rich Moisturising' part of its name in all honesty mainly because the consistency seemed a little too thin to be really moisturising. But all in all, this is a gorgeous conditioner but not really as moisturising as the name. I really liked the fairly simplistic monochrome packaging too! I'm really keen to try out some of the other products by James Brown.

Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends Conditioner

This is a really affordable conditioner (£3.89 at Boots) and again it smells amazing and I'm yet to find  a Herbal essences product which doesn't! It's pink and really creamy and  in consistency making it really moisturising. It leaves my hair feeling really sleek and hides split ends really well. I'm also really into hair masques at the moment, and I've heard that the Herbal Essences ones are really good!
Samy Fat Hair Thickening Conditioner
I have fine, straight hair so I quite like to have products which can give a little volume. This is supposed to make your hair thicker stronger and fuller. For me if definitely felt fuller, but I'm not too sure about the rest. It was a good conditioner but wasn't one of the best I've used because my hair didn't feel THAT soft afterwards. This is the only thing I've ever used from Samy and I think it's only available in Superdrug!

John Frieda Moisturising Sheer Blonde, Enhancing Sheer Blonde & Full repair Conditioners
I completely lurvvvvv all these John Frieda conditioners, maybe the moisturising one a bit more. My mum bought me two of the blonde ones for Christmas (thinking one was a shampoo - how silly!) the enhancing one and the moisturising one. Both of them were equally as amazing but good in their own ways too doing exactly what they said they would. My hair felt so soft and silky, but lightweight too which is a plus for me. The Full repair conditioner was equally as good leaving my hair feeling stronger and softer. I will definitely be repurchasing these.
Clairol Nice & Easy Colourseal Gloss
I don't colour my hair and I don't know whether this is technically a conditioner but I'm going to include it in this anyway. My boyfriends mum bought me this for when I sleep over which I was so grateful for: I hate going somewhere and the conditioner being shit! This is the sort of conditioner that you only need a teeny tiny bit and it makes a huge difference. I've already used this up in about 3 washes, but I think it's only 99p! It's really softening and I'm sure it would work really well on dryer, coloured blonde hair too.
Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment
Again this a 'treatment' rather than a conditioner but I love it SO much. Of course I don't think it makes your hair grow magically (although it would be amazing if it did!) but, that't not why i buy  it. I've had this twice now and I've just used my second tub up (At £8 there is a very small amount in the tub :( ) but I'm going to repurchase anyway. This treatment smells amazing, it's a very heavy scent, reminding me of Thierry Mugler Angel perfume and the smell lasts on your hair throughout the day. It's so incredibly moisturising and after 5 mins your hair feels amaaaaaaaazing. I love this so much, but it is overpriced for the amount that you get in a tub.
L'oréal Full Restore ConditionerThis conditioner and it's shampoo are again AMAZING. I went through a phase where I wouldn't use anything but this and the matching shampoo just because of how it makes your hair feel; stronger, silky, voluminous, moisturised and splits ends are hidden. I've not used this in a while but I'd definitely recommend this as it's such a good conditioner, especially for people with hair similar/the same as mine.

Tresemme Restructuring Deep Conditioning Masque
I bought this a couple of days ago for £2.45 at Superdrug (normally £4.99) which is amazingly priced as you get a enormousness tub. It smells a little weird, a bit like make-up/foundation but it's still a nice smell and it does work really well.

Volume please

Percy & Reed No Oil Oil

Percy&Reed No Oil Oil - £14

Until recently, I've never used hair oils because I never thought they'd be suited to my fine hair which lacks volume as I thought they'd just make it greasy and weigh it down. Percy & Reed No Oil Oil is a hair which is volumising  hair oil for fine hair  so it's perfect for mine! I've been using an Argan oil recently, but found if I applied the slightest too much my hair would become weirdly separated. But my friend uses Moroccan oil with her thick hair so I think it's just too heavy for hair like mine! No Oil Oil is fairly watery in consistancy and does EVERYTHING it says it will, leaving you with smooth hair and volume making it feel really strong and even protects from heat. My hair feels and smells so sooo nice after using this, but I think some people may not like the scent as its quite heavy for a hair product but I love it. You barely need any either to have gorgeous feeling hair. I'm really excited to buy other products from this range and the packaging is so lovely too. The whole collection is available here at ASOS.

L'oreal Nail Confetti

L'Oreal Top Coat Confetti - £4.99
Painting my nails is one of my favourite things, and I love changing them all the time, so I'm constantly on the look out for new ideas and polishes. Glittery top coats are one of my faves and L'Oreal have released a new range of topcoats and I chose this one  which is a black and white nail confetti. I'm really happy with it - unlike most glittery top coats, the confetti particles in this lie completely flat against your nail so they aren't pulled off. It's a really nice, super-easy way to make your nails look like you've spent hours on them! I layered it over no.17 Lasting Fix Nail polish in a lilacy-pinky colour called sweet kisses which I ADORE. I love the nail confetti, but the bottle is pretty small so I know it'll be all gone before I know it! I can't wait to try out some of there other Top coats from this range.
