Eyeing up

MAYBELLINE GEL LINER AND VOLUM EXPRESS MASCARA

Sorry for the lack of posts - I've had so much going on recently. These are just a couple of products I bought just to update my eye look!

When it comes to my make up - day or night, a cat eye is a must. I have been getting more into gel liners over liquid liners as I feel they are much more longer lasting and don't like the applicators on most liquid liner products.

I've previously tried Mac, L'oreal and Rimmel gel liners which besides the rimmel one, I have loved. The Rimmel one kept printing on the crease of my eyelid and the brush which it came with was useless as was all frayed - something I won't be repurchasing.

 This little product from Maybelline is proving to be a good find. It's long lasting and is an intense black colour and it doesn't print on the crease (so far). I love the brush it comes with allowing precise thick or thin lines to be created.  I really recommed this especially as its affordable and a high quality.

My next purchase again from Maybelline is the Rock Volum Express black mascara. I like this product. It's an intense black and the rubber applicator is good although at the moment I feel that it puts a little bit too much on the lashes but I'm sure as I use the product a bit more this will become a bit more manageable. 

It's so easy to create volomous fluttery lashes with this product for a dramatic look. I also feel that when I'm wearing this product, my lashes look a LOT longer than normal. It also holds a curl really well.
