CROWN JEWELS

Accessories are such an important part to an outfit.I feel almost lost when I'm not wearing any jewellery...

Sometimes an outfit such as a heavily embellished top or a dress with a bold print doesn't need anything extra and adding a necklace or huge bracelets would just detract away from the beauty of the outfit. On the other hand I find most of the time accessorising properly with jewellery takes a boring outfit to the one which people want to copy....

RINGSWhen it comes to rings, I generally think the more the better. I like to combine above-the-knuckle rings with normal rings to create a fun eye-catching look. Most of my above-the-knuckle rings are from River Island (pictured) as they only cost a few pounds and are really beautiful. I have others from UO and Topshop. I tend to wear gold coloured jewellery but I do have a few silver bits too. Combined with flawless nails, rings can create a really polished look, especially with an all black outfit. I prefer more dainty jewellery as I think it suits my frame more.

NECKLACES
I have so many necklaces and I hang them off hooks in my wardrobe so I can quickly pick the best jewellary option. I always think a statement necklace can really make an outfit. Jewellery mixes an outfit up and I think you can change an outfit with your choice. H&M do a really good selection of reasonably priced statement pieces.

BRACELETS
Admittedly not my favourite item of jewellery, I still  like to wear bracelets. Just like I've mentioned above I prefer gold pieces and more dainty although one of my favourites is a studded and spiked gold stretchy bracelet  found in the topshop sale. I often forget to put on bracelets but when I do remember I love my outfit a little bit more!

Earrings
I have a few ear piercings - one ear has three lobe piercings the other two with a cartilage piercing at the top. I ALWAYS  forget to wear earrings and every now and again I think they must have healed! Simple studs or huge hoops, I really don't mind. My favourite are a pair of (rather large) gold spiked hoops from Topshop. I love creating pretty combinations of earrings to wear.

I don't tend to spend a fortune on jewellery, but I do have a few more expensive pieces which I'll keep forever. Vintage pieces found from a charity shop or something passed on to you from your mum, aunty or grandma can be perfect too.
