After both watching and reading countless youtube videos and blog posts on the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvets, I decided I needed to get my hands on at least one and give it a whirl...
They apply similarly to a lipgloss but dry completely matte - probably better described as a liquid lipstick.
I chose the shade Pink Pong which is a bright magenta pink - perfect for a bold summer lip. These last for absolutely ages meaning you're very unlikely to have to reapply or worry about smudging. The applicator is slightly pointed making it easy to apply these neatly and precisely. At around £9 these aren't the cheapest of drugstore lip products but they are definitely worth it.
I've already added the rest of the shades to my extremely long beauty wishlist...
