PAMPERED

Lonely and bored one Saturday night, I decided to treat myself to an evening of at-home beauty treatments. For me, It's really important that you take time out once in a while and just relax and treat yourself.  I thought a post on a whole array of ideas for a pampering session would be extremely useful along with some product ideas.

I always like to start by taking a long bubble bath with a face mask on. It has to be the best way to relax whilst easing any aching muscles. Whilst in the bath I tend to exfoliate my whole body - my favourite to use is Body Shop's Coconut body scrub which has an amazing coconut scent. After my bath I like to use the matching body butter.

I love to give my hair a deep condition at least once a week to help to maintain healthy tresses. If I have plenty of time I'll cover my hair in Tresemme's Platinum Strength Deep Conditioning treatment, wrap it up in a towel and leave it from 30 minutes up to an hour before hopping back into the shower. I really love the results that deep conditioner gives and so will be repurchasing again and again.

I often forget to keep on top of my brows. I like to tint them at home as they are quite fair and I love how it turns out. I pluck out any stray hairs to neaten them up and voila, perfect, tamed brows. However I definitely think that if you're unsure about your brows you should visit a salon.

A manicure and pedicure are a definite must - soaking, shaping, filing, cuticles, base coat, top
coat... My favourite colours for summer are still pastels as I think they are so wearable.

Some other ideas include: leg/underarm/bikini (ouch!) wax, a lip exfoliate to have perfect a perfect pout with either a sugar scrub or just a damp toothbrush, a teeth whitener and finally before getting into bed, slap on a lot of foot cream and slip on a pair or socks for super soft feet.

Hopefully this post was useful. I always feel so refreshed and relaxed after a at-home pamper to do all them little beauty-jobs you always forget about.
